Belinda Jacobi has served as President of MOVING FORWARD Limb Loss Support Group since its inception in September 2012 until her passing in 2019. She was a fearless and determined leader, forging ahead in the following needed areas to serve her fellow amputees and our community:

Always offering encouragement and information to all she came in contact with
Helping to form a Peer Visitor program
Visiting and offering information & support to new amputees and their families
Leading in 2 monthly meetings and varied events
Writing and helping to produce the group's monthly newsletter
Forging ahead to help organize and promote the group's annual fundraising budget through Give For Good Louisville
Record keeping for the group
Taking care of the paperwork for the group as a not-for-profit entity
Being a constant source of motivation and encouragement for group members and friends alike
